Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate - 3DS

Curious as to who owns the game. I picked it up last week and can't put it down. I quickly learned that patience and tons of potions is pretty much the key to most boss monsters.
I'm currently using the jaggi armor at lv3 and the leader's shotels. Can't craft anything better yet, except for various pieces of armor from other sets. My next quest is the najarala.
Also if anyone has any tips/strategies that work well for them I would love to hear them. ^-^

I got it; I main Hunting Horn and wear G-rank Najarala armor. My only real tips are play with friends and decide what kind of sets you want to commit to making beforehand and try hunting those monsters more often. Don't be afraid to ask to hunt something specific; I've noticed that MHU players are very nice about helping others out with things like that. 'u'

What's G-rank? I'm guessing it's after the main story? And yeah, I have a friend nearby who also plays, I just haven't had a chance to meet up with him yet. The najarala has me stuck for now.

Sorry! G-rank is attained after finishing enough quests in the Gathering Hall; it doesn't have much of anything to do with the game's story. Sorry about the confusion there. ^^" So, I'm guessing you're up to Sunsnug Isle in the story?

Yup! And I gotcha. No worries. :3

Cool. I'm guessing you're having problems with the najarala because of the sound attacks, odd movement, and your attacks bouncing off a lot?

OP
Yeah, I'm having trouble reading it's movements. My attacks aren't bouncing off too much, but I hVe to resharpen a lot so they don't.

Ah. My suggestion would be to use traps on it, preferrably Shock Traps, to keep it still. Also, try zoning tactics to learn some of its patterns.
