Watcher Feedback Wanted - What Made You Watch Me?
Lizard.
I'm tired of seeing my empty commission queue lol
Okay so I want to know how I'm doing as an artist in this community.
I don't have a huge following.
I've been on FA for years, but I know I've lost followers from the constant jumping of accounts..
I'm trying to be a little more interactive with my audience.
So I want to know:
-Why in the world are you following me/my art?
-What made you follow me?
-Was there a specific piece of mine that made you hit that +watch button?
-How did you stumble across me?
-Do you have a favorite piece of mine that you like?
-What do you think are my strengths as an artist?
-What are some things you think I can work on?
-What do you like seeing from me?
-What would you like to see more of?
-Are there any mediums you like seeing from me?
-Are there any mediums you'd like to see me work more with?
-Is there anything else you could add?
Be as detailed and constructive as possible!
The more in depth you go, the more I feel I can improve.
Please feel free to link me to works you use as examples :)

FA+

I follow you before I know you in person, and I like you
-What made you follow me?
Because we know each other, even if we can't hang around much anymore
-Was there a specific piece of mine that made you hit that +watch button?
Because I know you
-How did you stumble across me?
I blame Davey
-Do you have a favorite piece of mine that you like?
Haven't been around much in submissions but I like the one you did of Toby and the one of Rokken
-What do you think are my strengths as an artist?
Your colors are very nice
-What are some things you think I can work on?
As a fellow artist struggling with that myself, I would say just keep on drawing. Improvement will come eventually
-What do you like seeing from me?
I like how you do simple poses
-What would you like to see more of?
Mmm... maybe more dynamic pics of couples?
-Are there any mediums you like seeing from me?
I'm confused what a medium is >_>
-Are there any mediums you'd like to see me work more with?
Same as above
-Is there anything else you could add?
More artwork! X3
To clarify, medium (or media) is what is used to create art. For example, I was pencil to draw, inks to line, and paint/marker/whatever to color :)
I believe it was due to your body structures and dinosaurs/dragons.
-What made you follow me?
I... Don't remember...
-Was there a specific piece of mine that made you hit that +watch button?
There probably was, but... again, i don't remember.
-How did you stumble across me?
Cannot remember.
-Do you have a favorite piece of mine that you like?
Cannot say.
-What do you think are my strengths as an artist?
You have a talent for managing to add weight to a character, like a stomach or tail that looks heavy.
-What are some things you think I can work on?
Perhaps colors. you have an interesting style.
-What do you like seeing from me?
I like when you make a chubby or thick character and are able to flex the weight of the character.
-What would you like to see more of?
See the previous statement x3.
-Are there any mediums you like seeing from me?
I like your b+w works and am fond of pencil works.
-Are there any mediums you'd like to see me work more with?
Not sure.
-Is there anything else you could add?
Sadly not. i can't seem to find the submission that made me watch you and due to that, I can't clearly recall when I watched you.
You're a traditional artist, I'm a traditional artist, and we're a desparagingly rare breed online...
-What made you follow me?
You're a traditional artist, I'm a traditional artist, and we're a desparagingly rare breed online...
-Was there a specific piece of mine that made you hit that +watch button?
Nothing really. Just you being a traditional artist honestly.
-How did you stumble across me?
Literally found a piece of yours during a "wiki-walk" of Furaffinity.
-Do you have a favorite piece of mine that you like?
Not really. They're all equally cool to me.
-What do you think are my strengths as an artist?
Good angles, clean lively and dynamic lineart. Good grounding in anatomy.
-What are some things you think I can work on?
Human characters and realism? but that goes without saying for ALL artists.
-What do you like seeing from me?
Just art. Your art. Keep making that stuff man.
-What would you like to see more of?
MOAR ARTS! yeah.
-Are there any mediums you like seeing from me?
>:3 charcoal. Just kidding. Oil or acrylics would be neat to see from you. I do wonder how you'd handle pastels. Basically more varied traditional stuff.

-Is there anything else you could add?
I'm biased but the way you render would look cool as a comic book. It might give you a very Delirium from Sandman vibe. But i'm looking to become a graphic novelist so I'm going all hammer-nails vision on you.
Cause I met you then learned you were an awesome artist.
-What made you follow me?
Cause I like you :P
-Was there a specific piece of mine that made you hit that +watch button?
Not really
-How did you stumble across me?
I stalked you here :P
-Do you have a favorite piece of mine that you like?
I like the pieces where you do the watercolor background then draw over it
-What do you think are my strengths as an artist?
Great line work, unusual poses, great colors
-What are some things you think I can work on?
Maybe more scenery kind of stuff/adding backgrounds. I always enjoy seeing species that are uncommon
-What do you like seeing from me?
The bright colors you use.
-What would you like to see more of?
Just more!
-Are there any mediums you like seeing from me?
Like I said before the watercolors are cool.
-Are there any mediums you'd like to see me work more with?
Whatever you wanna do.
-Is there anything else you could add?
You're an awesome artist and I love what you do. I feel that if you wanna get commissions being regularly active is good. Even with just sketches. Having a detailed journal or commission info page can help. Lets people know what you can do and what you're looking for from the commissioners. People like knowing what an artist will and won't do. Also, in my personal experience, using a banner ad is an easy way to get your name out there and more people looking at your page. I've done it with my Collared Corgi stuff and it helped a lot.
