*growf!*Well Ontario just finished a rather nice heat wave - possibly the last nice weather for the year, not sure. Hope not! I miss when I can't ride a bike. :( Also have been undergoing the adventure of getting some steel rims and winter tires for my vehicle. I would HIGHLY recommend winter tires, by the way - I have used them now on my prior two vehicles and will on the new one as they make a huge difference. Even if snow isn't frequent, they're a good consideration if the temperature averages below 7°C because they are made of different rubber compounds that stay more soft and pliable in the cold. I can definitely confirm those results. In the times my vehicles were caught in a freak early (or late) snow fall with their summer tires.... oi... awful traction. Though it's worth noting that the opposite is true when temperatures are higher - try driving a winter tire in the summer, and it's actually too soft to properly hold the road. At my last job, my manager was an Ontario Solo1 and Solo2 racing champion, and he made two very good points: "All Seasons are No-Seasons, and an area the size of your fist x4 is all that connects you to the road - make sure the tire you choose does a good job of it."

In fact, only reason I'm not a bit more mind-blown over this one is that I've known it's been coming for some time now. :) Sera very, very excitedly told CAThulu and I about it a while back, and I've seen some progress sketches on Jackcrow's Trello, SO, very awesome to see the final piece. This is just perfect, as it captures a number of cool things very nicely. First off (and most obviously) there are a LOT of nice footpaws in this! The male charr is just wickedly intense - look at that gaze! He is just hungrily pounding the little dragon. Sera, meanwhile, is so absorbed though in the females beautiful footpaws that if you just look at her face, you'd never know how intense the male is riding her. For that, you have to look at her cute C3-type feet; there you can see the tenseness, and that's a great way to convey both states in one character. I love the female charr as well is sorta half laughing from being tickled, and half into it at a more aroused level. ^_^ Very, very awesome.
And... the crazy thing is, there are a lot of other good runner-ups for Most Pawesome too!

Okay so... this is another random DA find. I dunno if this is a single person or a group, but for all the pictures they have, I don't think they have much of a clue of what constitutes "attractive" feet, as 90+% of the gallery is hideous. BUT... this one model, Mirah, is an exception. She's got very lovely toes and thick, pillowy soft looking soles, and this particular shot is so beautifully lit as well. Very nice. Character Summary/History:
I'm a lone warrior dragon without any real allegiances, from a time period similar to the medieval era, and a world populated by anthros, monsters, dragons, etc. I rarely work as a mercenary; it's more that I fight on my own to keep the world's fragile balance stable, trying to prevent unneeded death and such. However I will murder if I think it is better for a larger population. Personality wise I am quiet and reserved. For a short time I travelled took on a fox companion after I had razed his small village and he had nowhere else to go.
Commenting on Images:
I've never seen a comment on one of my own images I really didn't like. Pretty much anything is fine as long as it's not hateful or negative about someone.
Some Q&A(TC) Thank you so much for being willing to answer some questions! So, one checking out all the images of ShadowKeeper would notice you're pretty consistent with clothing. Is that his standard get-up? And any reason/story behind it?
(ShadowKeeper) There's no real story behind it, but I am a wandering warrior. I rarely have a home to store a variety of clothing. Although it is possible I will wear something different as needed. My current get-up is durable and practical for me.
(TC) Part of that clothing is some cool looking sandals for your nice big footpaws - do you like to protect them and/or are they sensitive soles or something?
(ShadowKeeper) It just makes walking over harsher terrain easier. It also means I can walk for longer periods of time, if I can't fly for some reason.
(TC) You has some really nice big and beautiful footpaws. Does he mind sharing them with admirers?
(ShadowKeeper) I don't mind sharing them with a maseuse.
(TC) What are your favourite pastimes/hobbies?
(ShadowKeeper) Soaring through the clouds, stuffing my face. Having a good beer, and sparing or otherwise honing my skills.
(TC) If you had to say what he liked most in people, what would it be?
(ShadowKeeper) As most dragons, I try to stay isolated from people as much as possible, but I do tend to stay at Inns and the like and am part of society quite often.
(TC) Last one - is there anything you would like to say to the folks watching the Paw-Post?
(ShadowKeeper) I don't understand why talking to me interests you guys but hey, I don't mind either.

It's tied with CunningFox's feature for my favorite -- I'm always keen on super clean linework, and this is no exception. Such gorgeous work, omg. The detailing in the claws is very nicely done. :'3
Hurrrr... yes - sheep! I freaken love that the jammies are covered in sheep. XD And CunningFox does seem to have a real knack for precise line work. This was a very close choice for Most Pawesome as it's so loving and wonderful. I actually prefer clean artwork to yiffy. A bit of personal bias did play into the choice this time as Sera is a good friend and also someone who is so very into footpaws in quite a few similar ways to myself. Easier, perhaps, to relate to how she would be feeling in that situation.
(Or maybe I've just been around and experienced too many car-related mishaps and have since become even more of a wuss than normal, hahaha...)
That makes total sense. :) Plus these posts are yours, after all -- there's nothing wrong with you having some bias in your choices. :'3 In all the entries I've seen, you seem to have a pretty wide variety of subject matter in the featured work -- worksafe and otherwise, so it isn't like you're going out of your way to exclude things that you might not enjoy quite as much as someone else might. It seems far more that you're aiming to showcase work that appeals to paw lovers as a group, with an inclusive focus rather than exclusive. That doesn't strike me as being an unfair sort of bias at all. :P
Awww, that is very nice of you to say. ^_^ It's a bit of both though, honestly. The footpaws that appear in the Paw-Post are those I feel are the best of the bunch, but that is based on my own standards for feet and paws. I tend to be a lot picker than most, but... in the same respect, I also try to make sure there is not one singular type of paw being portrayed on this list, nor a single class or theme of image. :P
Aha, and that proves what I'd thought was the case, too! :D That doesn't count as a bias to me, haha~ At least, certainly not a bad one at all. Showcasing your favorites while being conscious about not showing favoritism is a pretty impartial way to go about it, I reckon. :D (Plus let's face it, you've got a pretty awesome taste in paw designs, soooo~)

Jackrow is absolutely amazing. One of the artist a lot of people would LOVE to commission, but only a few selected individuals are entitled to this privilege. But one can always dream! :) He is high priority on my personal wishlist.
So you did have some sort of heat wave, too? Even you, in the land of snow and ice? Weather seems to be crazy. I could walk outside with just a shirt today (+pants and shoes of course). It's only a matter of time until winter strikes us with it's rock-hard icicle right in the butt. We will be prepared!
Heh - Southern Ontario's weather isn't actually too different from Germany's. It gets a bit colder here, but mostly similar. We had the same thing - many days of last week ending warm enough for t-shirts and pants, which was wonderful. Personally I would be QUITE happy to never see snow again.
And of course a nice paw-collection again. CunningFoxes' charr-pic is especially cute, though the chaar still really need to trim their claws. I would do that... for a nice sniffing in return... ://3
And heh, they can't trim them that much! They just have big claws - but I'm sure you'd find plenty of charr happy to give you a good long sniffing. :3
