So, 2015 has been a very up and down year.
I have have some friends come to visit, which was great. I have been to a couple of cons and seen more friends there, and made new friends as well which was really fun.
But it has also been a really sad year. Paul lost his mother (my mother in law) in late July, and just a couple of days ago her sister, Paul's aunt, died as well. So it's been really crappy in that respect.
In other news, the cat has been settling in well, we have had her I'd guess about 6 weeks or so, and she seems quite happy here. Though with a cat its hard to tell what they are thinking.
Because of what just happened, we are not sure if Paul's dad (my father in law) is going to come up for Thanksgiving. He was planing on taking a Greyhound up here, but because of this, everything is kind of up in the air.
Also, I updated my art queue, the one that shows up at the bottom of every journal. I have a lot to do this month, and that will go into next month as well, as some of this art is holiday gift/Secret Santa related. It's actually kinda nice to have a queue, a reason to draw. Or else its easy to just be lazy and not bother drawing. So happy I have a commission! And it's for a friend too, so that's extra pressure to do well! :)
We are starting to gear up for the holidays. If Paul's dad comes down (which it looks like he probably will) then we may put up the tree before he comes, so we Ill have the tree up by the 20th, or do it while he is here. This will be the first year of having a Christmas tree with a cat, so this should be.. interesting, LOL.
I guess that's about it for right now. Don't forget that despite my queue list, I am still open for commissions!
And coming soon will be a holiday themed YCH, so keep an eye out for that! Tigerdile is doing another HomeCon for the after Thanksgiving weekend, so I think I will open them up for that! I will also have other specials running, so keep watching! :)
Stay awesome, people!

Anyway, I don't know if you watch my page or not but I've been up to a lot, had a minor hiccup but minimal aftershocks so now I just need to get my head in the right place. Been writing steadily, which is good. I'm pretty darn impressed with myself on that front.
