Got questioned by a cop while I was hunting for a cache out in an empty parking lot that was surrounded by a lot of closed down businesses. Tried my best to stay under the radar, but it's kind of hard when you're going to this little patch of once decorative trees in the middle of a massive empty lot.

Ended up having a chat, telling him about geocaching and I ended up finding the cache and showing him the film canister and log book that was taped to a low-hanging branch.

Also went looking for caches in the forest preserves around my area. Stumbled upon a weird area with what looked like a very small foundation for something or a cement vault with an in-ground circular stone well next to it. There was clothing and metal chains and trash everywhere. I accidentally picked up a vial of what looked like old blood. We ended up not searching for that cache any further, hahah. I guess those woods are notorious for druggies and Satanists.

Other than these, I don't have too many crazy stories :(

i have gone geocaching about 4 times and found over 20 of them so far. i also didnt run into any cops yet, but i have a feeling i will in the future
