I'd ruther stick with Ringo, lol.
And it would made sense at least in the comic for his name to be Ringo (since at the time of 'the silencing' the beatles were teh megashiz) and a couple of generations down the way with no mass-produced new music, the beatles would have had nobody to surpass thier awesomeness.

...and also because I'm Southern, and "Ruther" sounds just like "rather". as in, "I'd ruther go fishin" So it adds kind of a redneck aspect to his character that doesn't suit him at all.
