I had said I was going to launch my Patreon before the end of October. Clearly I didn't. Here's why:

Proper scheduling.

Sounds boring but transparency is essential in this business model so here's the mundane details. The Patreon is meant to support the "False Start" and "Deadworld" comics which you may have noticed haven't updated in a while. I haven't updated THOSE in a while because I've got a big batch of commissions that I want finished before MFF because I want as clear a backlog as possible going in; I'm doing pretty good on that front. Had some bad days health wise but I'm pleased with the speed and quality of my output overall. I owe it to my commissioners to get their work done since they came before this Patreon idea I had.

I felt it was unfair to launch a Patreon for a comic I wouldn't be updating at the time of launch, it'd be incredibly disingenuous and unfair. False Start and Deadworld will resume updating shortly and the corresponding Patreon will hopefully go live before the end of the year, should my health not bottom out (which can and does happen). So there's still time to unsubscribe from lesser artists and rob the rich to buy into my Vastly Superior Patreon Artistic Enterprise.
