I been home alone since yesterday, and having the house to myself is quite relaxing. :3 I played a buncha Half-Life 2 last night since Gmod wouldn't let me play with Rush, and it was quite a blast! 1) What was your FIRST video game console?

NES. :D I got it with Double Dragon, which my parents were very offended by!
It kinda dissapeared..I have no recollection fo where it went. ._. But I got another new one when I was like 15, but it's dead now. I need a new one...

2) Name a few games you played on said console. The ones you played the most.

Duck Hunt, Super Mario 1 and 2, and Double Dragon were always my faves. on the second one I got, I loved playing Cabal with my cousin.

3) Excluding handhelds, how many VG consoles do you own presently?

10: nes, snes, n64, genises (I count 32x and sega cd as addons), dreamcast, psone, ps2, xbox, gamecube, atari 2600

4) Were you a Street Fighter nut? Any character in particular?

I was never deeply into Street Fighter. I just have SF2 Championship Edition for Genises, which I like.

5) If you think Capcom is a F***ING awesome company with kickass character designs, I would like to hear a "Hell yes" followed by a Capcom character you love.

Anyway, I am rather fond of Leon Kennedy and Megaman. Can't think of any others I really like at the moment.

6) Here's the scenario.. You had some friends over and you all ate FRIED CHICKEN! After the meal you all decide to play some video games. As your friend reaches for a controller you notice his/her hands are very "greasy." Are you the type that would insist they wash their hands before pawing the controller, or is it no big deal

Oh Geez no! :c I'd make the greasy hand fellow/gal wash up first!

7) What's your favorite RPG/Action RPG? I will allow a second and third fave if you want.

Final Fantasy 8 is pretty awesome! I also love Brave Fencer Musashi...can't think of any others.

8) Do you prefer 2D games or 3D games?

Well, 2D games do tend to be better (I can think of allot of dumb 3d games but not many 2d games)
But I really don't care, as long as they are fun for me.

9) Are you an SNK fan?

Well, I bought the SNK colelction thingy for PS2, but haven't really played it much, yet...I am very fond of the Metal Slug series, though.

11) Have you skipped out on important events in life because of video games?

I did quit Boy Scouts for cutting into my game time. Which, looking back, added to my childhood and all, but some of the kids were creeps anyway. My Genises is much more polite than greasy little boy scout people!

12) Do you listen to video game music?

All the time!

13) Have you ever cosplayed a VG character..?

I dressed up as Tails for a Noahs Ark festival at Church one year. We were supposed to be an animal, so I got away with it. Though I got kind of beat up.

14) Have you ever been in an arcade playing a fighting game, KICKING ASS, and then some 6 year old asian kid comes in and OWNS YOU??

I was never good at arcadey fighting games, mr. capslock drama swearing guy! ...and where do these 6 year old Asian kids come from? I see asian people once in a while at college, that's about it. ._.

15) Name three games you would love to see remakes of if it was done properly.

Sonic 1-3, remade by someone who isn't Sonic Team! I would want them to be in their old styles, too. The new ones scare me.

16) Mario or Sonic?

I'm a big Sonic fan, but Mario is very awesome too.

17) When a movie shows up in the theaters, let's use SpiderMan as an example, are you likely to buy the GAME version? It doesn't have to be SpiderMan btw.

Sports and also the ones where you play as a butthole and do butthole things!

Well, golly, yes! Have of my favorite games are ones nobody else cares about because they aren't based around sex and stupid and bloom lighting and guitars and Halo! :B
James Pond 3, Rayman 1, and Croc are like some of the best platofrm games I've ever played in my life. :c They are big and pretty, with great music and tons of fun stuff to find and things!

20) Have you ever verbally abused a game because you couldn't beat one of the levels and/or bosses?

Probably more when I was a dumb little teenager, but I still get mad if the game is being unfair. *cough* Okami celestial brush not doing what I told it to do*cough*


21) Do you own any VG apparel?

I nab any old-school Sonic realted apparel I can, and I also have Nintendo and And a Metal Gear Solid shirt.


22) What are your thoughts on the live-action Super Mario Bros movie?

I got it for Christmas this year. :D The fact that everyone chose to be offended and angry at it just makes me want to see it more! (just like that new dbz that Rush and I totally gotta go see because it looks dorky! ) I think silly and absurd movie concepts are quite fun.

23) On that note, what did you think about the live-action Street Fighter movie?

I never saw it. But the corny-looking Sega Saturn adpation is something I want to try. XD

24) Who hottest out of these three KOF chicks IYHO?

None of them are really attractive, some are creepy/gross, but most of them are just cute or fun. :3

25) Do you say "old-school" a lot when you're having a VG conversation with others?

I might, considering I tend to like games that are from the 80s and 90s more than the ones today.

26) Have you ever lent someone a game and they returned it to you damaged?

Yes...or it got stolen from them...or they moved away with it (thus, basically stealing it from me)...or they broke it...*twitch*
That's why I'm a collector now. No more "borrowing". if a freind really wants to play one of my games, they can come to my house, or I can get them a copy.

27) Do you own any imported games?

Nope...as much of a collector person I am, I don't know the littlest bit of import games or how to safely mod my consoles for using them.


28) Are you ready for this meme to be over, or could you keep going?

I can only tolerate gamer talk for so long before I start shooting my eye lasers.

It would defintly have to be an old school Sonic one, haha.

30) Have you ever cried after you beat a game? If so why?

Games with really emotional endings, yes. Metal Gear Solid games make me cry allot.
