Hello my dear raccoon lovers~

This is mostly aimed at anyone in the USA who has my phone number who I have texted in the past. I recently, after 5 years, finally ponied up and got a new phone. Five years is a long time in phone years.... l3 However, in order to upgrade on a contract without buying my phone outright, I needed to change my plan to a newer one -- and in my new plan, I no longer have free texting to the USA. I'm not sure if I get charged for incoming texts, but probably, because this is Canada telecoms we're talking about here. So if you're from the USA and we used to communicate via text message with any regularity, well... Now we don't. l3

As such, I should mention Telegram Messenger again. It's the #1 place to find me these days, and the absolute best way to stay in contact with me, for all purposes. I am @Graedius on there (super cool people might get my phone number, though.). I still use Skype whenever I'm online and at my PC, but -- that doesn't happen terribly often anymore. If you have a cell phone number (it is required), and text-chat is your jam, I would super-recommend Telegram. Super light, fast-syncing, and has a mobile, tablet, and desktop client. Infinitely better than Skype for the purposes of text chat, especially in regards to the mobile Skype client.
