The life of a baker is so great, gotta get up at 1:00 in the morning so you can get the stuff ready for when you open, unless your alarm doesn't go off and you wake up at 1:20 leaving you ten minutes to get ready and run the half a mile to work cause you don't have a car. But I can't complain cause it's a nice job baking pastries, bread, doughnuts and so on, but it tends to be a little hard when your oven messes up and won't heat up past 250 F making you have to bake everything twice as long. But thankfully we have a repair guy who always makes it to the store in a hour of it's an emergency...unless ya know it's Sunday and he doesn't work on Sunday's. But at least you can count on your coworkers to show up since they are reliable, except when two of them don't show up because they were out drinking last night leaving you and someone else to do the work of four while dealing with a broken oven..... But hey, free doughnuts
