If you want it set up be ready to wait for about a Week and it'll nake a Debit Account and it allows Gmail users the function to send out money and the max is about $500 per account just an fyi and yes it can transfer to your main bank account ^^

Same way as Paypal, except it isn't international. After setting up an account, you can connect your bank account and then send or receive money. There's no fee for sending money either.

Don't use Google Wallet. I've tried asking them to support this kind of use, but they don't want to get into the quagmire of dealing with fraud complaints, illegal goods, money laundering and so on that comes with allowing merchant-style transactions.

Until that changes, it'll remain against their TOS to use it for merchant transactions.

I personally won't touch buttcoins with a barge pole.

As for Square, I think the last time I looked at it, it only worked with debit transactions, and since I don't let anything touch my bank account directly that pretty much disqualified it for me. If they've since added credit checkout, then it's something I'd consider.

PayPal actually does allow selling adult and furry art, and even adult furry art. It doesn't allow stuff like bestiality, child porn, prostitution, drugs, etc. The trouble is that it's left up to individual support folks to determine if you're selling bestiality/cp when a complaint comes in, and they often fuck up that determination.

It definitely helps if you only use invoices instead of allowing people to send you money, because people put really stupid shit in the payment notes and that's what gets you in trouble most of the time. It's something that PayPal really needs to improve, but they have limited amounts of fucks to give for that particular issue.

I've been seeing mixed stories, from a presumably reputable artist (who I didn't follow and thus don't remember the name, so can't really quote me on that) asking a Paypal support rep if furry adult art was okay and the reply coming back that it was so long as it didn't break laws, to the ToS being changed to declare that PHYSICAL adult sales are fine but DIGITAL ones are still a no-go and thus trapping up any artists who didn't catch that......either way, I don't care how many people trust them, I don't any more because from what I see they're just as willing to use shady but legal BS to snag as much money as possible even through deceit.

From the main story I keep hearing, is that ADULT SALES are supposedly okay as long as they're a physical object. IE if you painted a nude character on a canvas that the customer could hang on their wall, or if you sold sex toys, etc. But by the same story, they still prohibit ADULT SALES if they are digital, IE the kind of stuff 3Mangos, Kevinsano, other NSFW MLP/Furry artists. It also happens to be 90% of all adult sales in the community, so it's easier to say that they still ban you for selling anything adult.

So your telling me that I could get banned for accepting commissions just for doing adult pictures like this?! WTF?! ARe you fucking serious?! AAGGHH! ARe you telling me I have to give everyone's money back?! For fuck's sake, this was such a wasted opportunity now ;_;

It really makes no sense that. Your basically telling me PayPal has some sort of tracking device on Furaffinity and keeps tabs on everyone. Are you sure your information is correct? Or are these details even accurate because this seems rather a huge invasion of privacy

Please don't jump to conclusions like that, I know I'm bad enough about doing it at times. The main cases of people getting their Paypal accounts locked and such as far as I know is usually due to clients putting something down in the comment box for their payments that indicates it was an adult commisison, or on the rare occassion (this one happened to KevinSano) some asshole reporting the commissioner's Paypal account to Paypal with a link to their site/FA Page/Portfolio/etc that shows they take adult sales through the service.

Usually. Kevinsano was incredibly unlucky to have someone target them like that.....but it just goes to show how bad Paypal is.

To be fair, while I don't exactly have any money to back up my stance (nor do commissioners really care, of course), as of recent months I now refuse to pay for commissions through Paypal because of their business ethics, and if that means half of all artists won't let me commission them because they refuse to take payment through anything BUT Paypal, then so be it.

Though I've yet to make my decision on what alternative to use; Paypal is like Skype, Google, Gmail etc, in that people tend to associate their respective services with them as if they're the only one that exists, and trust them as such despite what they do as a business or what flaws their service may have.
