Yeah its weird because getting enough friends together to do it right is difficult over the internet, plus I don't know what that kind of safe space entails :P I know UBcon was fun, but there were like 8 furries there and a few of them were VERY stereotypical furries. I assume its like that at any con tho, you like some people and not others. Most of the furrries (6/8) I met there were super friendly and even found my FA later :3

Yeah, me neither. I'm a bit on the fence about going to one, just because of travel expenses. Seems like it might be fun tho :3

I've been to Anthrocon since 2001 and attended every other year.

Honestly it's not much different from an anime con, just replace cosplay with fursuits and manga with furry comics and so on. Just like any con, you'll have the most fun with a group of friends to do activities with and split the cost of a hotel room.

I'm always on the fence about going, just cuz most of my furry friends are in other states and organizing stuff like that is tricky. I'll give it a shot at some point probably

that's the appeal of any convention, it's a massive meet for people from all over to attend and enjoy events with your online friends for a weekend

lol most furries don't own a suit x3 I don't think I'll ever get one, not my scene. Lots of furries are really nice in person though, kinda like walking up to a disney character :D
