I usually go but I think this year is a stretch because I cannot really do a room on my new just art budget. Otherwise I would do gallery as well since that is my usual main reason for going. I used to work the con and monday is pretty dead IMO. Was so much easier to go to when I lived in Santa Cruz haha. It's my favorite con, I hate to miss it, but dunno might try and it would be cool to meet more people. (SO is not a furry so I feel lil bad having him go, as he's my driver XD Last year he had a good time though)

I have not stayed at that hotel but I am sure someone has.

Yeah! I might do the next year more officially. What with movin' and getting engaged I sort of derped the con boat so to speak. There are tons of good eats around there. I might pop in and not reg, if I do I will be fairly obvious in main areas, as I draw in the main lobby often.

Ive been there 2 years ago as my first con... shame I cant drive lol going to be 2 years not going again lol

I went to the 2011 FC and it was held at the Fairmont then. Very nice hotel, and that bakery is where I got goodies every day. I highly recommend both. They are only a block or so from where it's held now. I'm staying at the St. Claire which is midway between the two. It's my favorite place. Smaller and quieter yet and very nice! There are plenty of places for lunch and dinner within walking distance of all of them. I'll be there for the entire time, so I hope to see you there! I don't suit....don't have one but I'll be wearing Rabbitfangs name tag with a picture of my bunnygirl Liane on it. XD

The last day does have some things going on but it's not as active as the middle days, or so I've noticed. Dealers Den closes down as does the art show and artists are packing up to go home. Any other things you want to ask me, feel free to note me.

Good to know about the hotel and about food places being nearby. Hopefully we cross paths so I can say hello.

Nothing happens much on Monday. It's pretty dead with no panels and the Dealer's Den last day is Sunday. I would be careful as it gets packed on Friday in the Dealer's Den and pretty warm in there too. If you're a fan of donuts, go to Psycho Donuts and if you love sandwiches, Ike's makes the best sandwiches. Just a heads up, elevators can get really packed and some people usually break the elevators, so stairs will be the best route.
If you're planning to leave Monday, make sure you pack all your stuff at night and try to get they read sooner than later. The elevators get busy the most on Monday mornings.

Thanks for all the advice! I'll be in the Fairmont, which I read is the quietest of the hotels. Hopefully the elevators won't be too hectic.
