By height? Daaamn! The one thing I loved about playing it often back then was building houses, but to tax you by how big your house was... glad that part changed. xD

I believe this was during the beta, my memory is foggy but I think LL gave us an allowance so it was a test of making your funds stretch. I think they realized quickly that the tax system was limiting our creativity. It was nice that it made everyone build on ground level, it was such a tight knit community that everyone sort of built things that weren't eye sores.

Hmm would make sense. back then they actually gave us money weekly (plus giving clubs money trees and giving clubs money to give to people back then). It really was back then, everyone was friendly, well even with the rise of furries back then (every apple, has its bad seeds), but I know what you meant. I loved building back then.

Wow I started around 2004 myself, way to be!
