So, if I were to start up a patreon, what would you want?
I have thought of some ideas of the vorish variety that would be fun to work on and I think that some of you might enjoy. Comics and animations alike~ The thing is, those are going to be posted here. Maybe delayed a bit from a potential Patreon, but I intend to post them here. The main point of me potentially setting up a Patreon is to get some more of my own ideas done, and ai think ot goes without saying, the more I like an idea, the better the quality tends to turn out to be. I can't afford to spend much time on my own projects though, when I have rent to pay! I need to get paid so I can afford to live, just like everyone else~
And you guys are great to me, commissions in numbers that I finally had to break down and stop accepting, because I couldn't keep up~ I feel like shit for not being able to keep up, BUUUUT IT FEELS AWESOME THAT YOU GUYS LIKE WHAT I DRAW ENOUGH THAT I CAN MAKE A LIVING DOING THIS! (Even if what you ask me to draw is pretty weird sometimes~ ;3)
Anyway! I will never ask you for money for something which you do not have a good idea of what you will be getting back. So, before I will even pitch a potential Patreon, i need to get some stuff done to show you guys~ Hopefully you will like my ideas~
But this brings me to the point of the journal. I am still not totally set on doing a Patreon. Maybe I won't? But if I were to, what kinds of things would you all like to potentially get out of it, were you to become a Patron?
Of course, any work that is sponsored by Patrons would be delivered to Patrons first, but would not be exclusive. I could provide my very disorganized and poorly labled Sai/Psd files? I heard an idea once, that certain level of patrons might get discounts on commissions, and I do kinda like that idea~ Maybe when I have multiple ideas I could work on, i will pitch them to the patrons, and let you pick what to do first?
Please, geev opinions and ideas~<3

If I had an alternative cashflow of some sort coming in now and then, I could afford to designate some time to work on these ideas~ That's why it comes up. I know that patreon had some BS go down with that hack, so I am not the most keen on the idea, but I don't know of any alternatives. = A =
I wouldn't be opposed either to giving priority to patrons in commissioning, too. It wouldn't be a garunteed slot exactly, but I would imagine so long as what one were to ask for in that regard wasn't totally out of line with my preferences it would probably get priority over most anything that others were to ask for. I wouldn't want to guarantee slots to people though, for the potential eventuality that there might be too many. Then I would disappoint people, AND be in the same place I am now, but with more money coming in. :I
Obviously there would be some considering for such things. It is true though that generally supporting a Patreon to the extent that you could get a discount on commissions, and then also commissioning would over all be more expensive in total than it would be just to commission me. The discount would be a bit of a bonus for those who might already be interested in seeing the patreon things.
The point of this journal though was to ask more, what do you think would make a patreon page worth it? What would you like to get back for it~?
