STOP faving art from my page that's not mine.
STOP faving things and not commenting on them.
I hate to go off on a tirade, especially after having such a great day yesterday (found a schweet pic with me in it done by a favorite artist in my submissions). But seriously. Why do people do such things? Do I really need to post something at the bottom of EVERY picture asking to comment if you fav?
Also, after 2 people had faved said pic, also without commenting, I posted (in all capital letters) an edit asking people to fav from the original artist's page. What happened just hours later? Another shameless fav. Without a comment. If you are one of those people and you're reading this journal, know that I'm still totally cool with you. I just think you're giving credit in the wrong place, and it's putting me in a bad mood
Whenever I fav a pic, I try to leave a comment. Whenever I run across something I like that is not done by the artist I'm visiting, but by another, I visit the original artist's page and comment/fav. I try to be as considerate as possible, because I expect that in return.
If silliness like this continues, I'm afraid I may become disenchanted with FA like I have with so many other websites. I love this site. It seems to be drama free (in my circle anyway) and very friendly. I really feel appreciated by people here and have made some fast, but seemingly real friends.
Please don't ruin this for me, or for anyone else. Be considerate to others. You would want them to be considerate to you, right? Karma can be a bitch. Don't tease her into biting your ass!

1) Because it isn't in the artist gallery
2) Because finding it in the artist gallery is a pain
3) Because a given artist is someone we don't want to be around
4) Because we've been blocked by the artist
5) Because it was found here.
All are reasons to fav here.
You give artists credit. The favs are giving you credit for good taste in commissions.
2. The link instantly takes you to the pic, pretty painlessly
3. Given artist is awesome sauce.
4. Hopefully this artist hasn't blocked you.
5. Found here, but with a link and asking to go to artist's page for faving.
I understand people faving, but to me it's not fair to the artist.
Also, it wasn't a commission.
But thanks for giving reasons why people do what they do. It helps some.
I only have 2 pics in my gallery that are not mine, which have been faved
And commented, I have given a link to the artist and gave them the credit.
The "Putting on a show" pic and the ne you coloured for me got alot of attention.
Unfortunelly hun ive had faves from those who are just watchers.... *hugs the uni*
And I really wish that everyone that faved would comment. I appreciate favs, but I also like to know what people are thinking when they see a pic
