I've just started trying to get money, actually since like earlier this year I think, I mostly got into it because I saw people getting like $25 a character so I was like "whoa, i can do that" Not sure if it was because they were a more known artist than I am or what, but the highest adopt I put up was $15, but that was taken by my friend who already owed me $15 but instead gave me $15 worth of dA points which is 1200. :/

I would love to get a job but alas I need to wait until at least 2018 or so so I can be old enough.

Yeah, I think having an audience is the biggest part, but you're still really young, so I think you'll get there, cause your art style is REALLY great! I struggle with self esteem too so I know you can't just snap your fingers and feel better, but I really do hope you keep at it because I'm pretty sure you'll only keep getting better.
