I still have journals that date back to 2008, so they don't appear to be deleting them. I can see your journals going all the way back to February 24, 2007.

When you are on your journal page, you should see a section titled "Recent Journals". To the right of that, there should be a button that says, "Older". Click on that to see the next 25, and so on.

I wish they'd delete the messages you throw in trash after 2 years like they were suppose to.

They sort of do already, but there's a catch to it. Both the sender and the recipient have to trash or delete it, before it is actually removed from the database. Otherwise, it exists forever.
