eggs Has anyone else gotten Carpal Tunnel? I've been doing a hell of a lot drawing recently well for the last 4 months. and i think its taking a toll because my hand gets tight sometimes and today i had to leave class and rest it because i'm afraid it will get worse. Right now its just painful when i grip small things like pieces of pastel. but i really fucking hope its not the beginning of carpal tunnel. does anyone have it and have advice on how to prevent it other than rest the hand??

(before summer vacation )
when i used my left hand for everything it stopped hurting after a week and after two weeks and i was good to go again
(now)
after couple months sitting wrong now and drawing for work i need to look at how i sit again because i can feel it coming back
but resting is seriously the best thing to do...
this works for me by having vacations and just don't draw :'I
there are also small exercises you can do to prevent it for going further
np!
1. make a right angle between the hand and forearm with the palm directed toward the underside of the forearm. press on the back of the hand with the palm moving toward the underside of the forearm
2. make a right angle between the hand and forearm with the back of the hand directed toward the upper side of the forearm, palm out. press on the palm with the back of the hand moving toward the upper side of the forearm
3. wring the wrist with the opposite hand. making sure that the thumb and middle finger meet and are wrapped around the joint between the radius and ulna in the arm and wrist bones. Gently squeeze
cracking joints is not unhealthy like some people claim. It repositions the bones and redistributes fluids in the joints.
it may not fix it but it might make it feel better. it could be a pinched nerve as well.
does the hand have pins and needles?
