Don't be too paranoid about it. It's over-inflated hype by the media that's making it worse than it really is. Just make sure to wash your hands and follow basic hygiene practice. It seems that a normal strain of flu is going around at the same time, so it looks like there's more cases than there really are.

Swine flu seem to be only slightly worse than the typical flu. Only thing about it is that a normal flu shot wont stop you from getting it. Unless you're very young, very old, or in poor health to start with, you'll just basicly end up with a case of fairly normal flu. Fever, aches, nausia, sweats. You should still contact your doctor if you develop flu-like symptoms though, as if it is a case of swine flu, normal flu cures may not do much good for you.

I have a feeling that in order to prevent the disease from spreading in more than one direction, the border needs to be closed. I'm not racist or anything, I just think the disease needs to be contained for now. We can't exactly stop the swine flu using medicine since it's a virus and all, but we can definitely stop it from spreading all over the damn place if the border's closed until it's gone. Just saying.
