I'm so sorry :< Those comics just can't stop changing... Those cheaters...

Yeah both D.C. and Marvel are in a bad way right now, because they don't want your money. They now want money from people who have no interest in comics and will never buy a copy of Old Man Logan or Beta Ray Bill, cause they want stuff spoon fed to them. So now we are stuck with crap like the new 52 and now Marvel making every super hero a bastardized version of what they used to be. Sure there are some good ideas here and there, I didn't mind the new Nova, I think Falcon as the new Captain America is cool, I like that X-23 is now Wolverine (for now anyways), but then there is a ton of other stupid shit like the 50 different Thors around or the 5 different Spider-manesque characters running around, or the whole thing if merging the Ultimate universe and basically clearing house of both universes continuity.

Plus a large reason Marvel stated for the universes colliding was all the time travel and time changing and yet in issue one of Guardians of Infinity we have GOTG's from two different timelines! I like some of the changes as well but far too many things were so drastically changed it's not funny. Plus there are at least 2 different Reed Richards and I think I figured it to be 5 different Captain Marvel's. Fuck that! And the M-Pox disease and making the mutants sterile! Really!???!? So it's M-day all over again and we killing the mutants once more. Please!

...This is why I stick to the Marvel Cinematic Universe... although seems to me the changes in the comics are so that they're marching in lock-step to the movies. And that's not a bad thing.

I like the version of Star-Lord that has Vance Astro's origin-story.

From what I have read of the new Marvel U it is further away from the cinematic universe now more than ever. When the mention of the All-New All Different MU was first mentioned I had thought they were gonna gear it t be like the CU in order to bring in the movie fans and that I could have been alright with but not this abomination!

Oh, dear. What of the Guardians? They LOOKED like they were gonna be more in lock-step with their movie counterparts...

Star-Lord is now king of his fathers planet, Kitty Pryde aka Shadowcat of the X-Men has joined, Drax may be leaving the group, Gamora is now super charged after events in an earlier storyline called The Black Vortex so she has super strength and The Thing of the Fantastic Four is now their pilot.

Okay. And what of Rocket and Groot? Angela? Agent Venom? I know Flash got an upgrade when the Guardians visited the Planet Of The Symbiotes... Flash's symbiote went berserk, then absorbed a few bits of the Milano and now looks more like a space-suit.

Venom is now a member of the Spaceknights (as in Rom Spaceknight fame) Rocket and Groot are still on the team but Angela is now ruler of Asgardian Hel.

...So Angela's in Niflheim and Flash Thompson is with Rom. Nice.

Of course, that'll all change in a year or two, and it'll be back to status-quo except for the one or two things people liked.

I agree completely and maybe I'll be back to collect Marvel again if things improve.

In the meantime, the movies have consistently kicked ass.
