Go into your profile options and look around for the "style" option, change it to "classic light".

To be honest, I prefer the dark setting for the site since it's easier on my eyes. I can't even read what you're typing, even if I squint my eyes.

Well... You can see winged's little shortcut cheaty thing he decided to do... It's just that I REALLY LOVE purple. Maybe I can figure out a brighter variant.

even adding something like light to the description helps, try violet even and see if that works
