I had a dream this morning where I was at a fur con, and I was at some panel on fur suit construction. My friends were there, in the back row (I was in the front) and I was somewhat concerned that they would figure out that I'm a furry (how they accompanied me to a fur con without knowing this was not explained.) There was a sort of hands-on component that had to do with attaching earrings to costume ears and it involved molding some clay onto the ear for some reason. Anyway, I did it wrong, and this girl that was running the panel took mine from me and showed me how to do it right. She had blond hair and blue eyes and she made deep, meaningful eye contact with me while she demonstrated the correct technique. I loved her.

I rarely make direct eye contact with people in real life (I actually try to avoid it) and maybe that has something to do with how, whenever eye contact happens to me in a dream, it feels very meaningful and emotional in a way that I still remember when I wake up. The climax to the best dream I've ever had was making eye contact with a wolf after wrestling with it violently. Eye contact is always positive and soulful in my dreams... I wonder why I shy away from it in real life.
