☾✩ I found out my friend 
alisterkael is going to be in the military far longer than I thought. Rather, he was supposed to come home after boot camp for a month and then go back, and now thats not happening. I miss him. Its stupid.
And then I find out that an agent is going to be coming to my house and asking me if 'he's the man for the job'. what kind of job is that??? It sounds dangerous and sneaky and it makes me so nervous
We're at war. I don't want my friend to be in harms way. A linguist should have been a safe job so why do I feel so frightened...

If he's a linguist, most likely an interview asking if he's right for the job involves him working with classified information. It doesn't necessarily mean he will be in harm's way.

Depends on his role. Some goes to deployment and some not. He might be transferred to different base for more training. but It's not my business or your business to know where he is going. But I wished him a good luck.

Military heads tend to be pretty uptight about security clearance. I remember being asked if I knew the names and social security numbers of everyone I'd lived with in the last...what was it, five years?
