I'm starting to really hate patreon. It seems like too many artists are using it to lock their own artwork behind a paywall, rather than use the service just to have fans of their help the artist make a legitimate living. Remember when you could just go on e621 and jack off to high-quality furry porn? Well, those days may one day be over, sadly. I'm seeing too many artists trying the con us into paying for art that we have not even commissioned.

It's really sad to see the furry porn industry come to this. I will gladly donate stuff to an artist. I will gladly commission artwork from an artist. I'll even crowdfund a huge animation project. But I never will condone anyone who dares to lock anything behind a paywall. Especially if I did not commission it.
