for me it's how they look and feel on me. diapers are most definitely a fetish for me, so I enjoy using them too and whatnot. they also help me regress when i'm feeling really cubby and baby like. I also enjoy changing diapers because it makes me feel like someone else is depending on me to make sure they're clean and happy, kinda brings out my Daddy side.

Hmmmm... I kinda wish I knew. When I was young I was borderline phobic of them. I guess they made me feel odd and I didn't understand why so I avoided them. Then they kept slowly eating away at something in me and became a mania. Took my curiosity online and found I wasn't alone. Felt like a freak, but couldn't stop. Then one day after trying to make one, it accidentally became a phillia. Not a very exciting story, but it's mine.

kinda wish I knew why I like them so much. Maybe it's just trying to go back to a safe point in my childhood that wasn't being yelled at.

this sounds almost EXACTLY what i went through, from phobic feeling, the idea of regression. though i have never actually owned or used a diaper in my life beyond being a baby, most of this story sounds just like mine, so i can totally relate

I still honestly haven't touched one since I was a baby. I've pretty much tried making homemade things, but I wouldn't recommend trying to use them.

It is nice to hear that people had similar experiences though. Makes it feel less lonely.

It's twofold for me, I think. My fetishes tend to be either based on tactile sensation or associated with some form of submissiveness or helplessness. Diapers fill both roles for me.

i understand the helplessness. thats why i use jackets in combination, makes the jacketed, diapered one entirely reliant ouo

They look cute and feel great, that's the best way I can put it. Everyone has a different reason for liking it as well as a different degree of infatuation. Some like acting like full on babies, while others just like the feeling of wearing diapers. Some also prefer not to use diapers all that often. I personally do not wet that often and I definitely don't mess them. Unfortunately I am almost never able to wear them still living with my family. I remember first discovering I liked diapers when I had a cousin who was 2 years old at the time, I was about 5, we were playing in my room and I got this random idea that I would put on a diaper and we could be little "diaper buddies" or something like that. I'll never forget the feeling. He and I had a fun night together jumping around and playing. We caused a bit of a fuss and broke a playpen . My parents didn't really make a big deal of me wearing a diaper though. I've never told anyone IRL about this, and am still shy about it. Hope that helps a little.

saftey and comfort, i had a bad surgery when i was young and have stress induced incontinence and waking up each night to a wet bed or towels got annoying when i found out about larger diapies i was in heaven, they provided comfort and safety and as i experimented and learned more about myself they provided a lot more for me.

One of my first and closest friends (someone I was madly in love with as well) at the time of me first joining this site asked me to draw it one day (in 2006 when I was new to the fandom and a freshman in high school) since I was into chibi drawings and I was like "Okay this wont be too hard" and well I just drew diapers for them only until someone else asked me to do it and I was like "Okay I can do this as a service now" and offered it to anyone who asked (I was a shite artist back then so everything was free) fast forward to a couple months later someone gets really pissed at me over me having an IRL BF and then she and her people troll me off the site and I give up for about 3 years until my inevitable return in '09 when I completely abandoned my old group of friends (didn't even attempt to contact them or anything) and I started up with normal art and again someone found me and asked for me to draw diapers, again I said "Okay I can do this still" that person became my "cub" for almost 5 years and during said time I just drew them casually not really getting into it just doing it to make others happy and to expand my artisic knowledge on things like this, the only person I knew who did diaper IRL for the longest time was my first friend who asked me to draw (lol my first diaper art person who "popped" my drawing diapers cherry) and then I found toddlergirl and tavimunk and a few others did it too and had fun doing it, I thought nothing of it and just kept drawing in hopes that people would be happy, and then people kept asking if I padded IRL and I said "Nope this is just art" and I kept it that way until this year when I met Muaruader12 and we chilled at his place and I got to try them, and lets just say my bladder might be a bit big even for the "heavy wetters" brands... It was interesting and I am glad I got to try them, but they aren't my bag (^_^);; but I have no issue with anyone else trying them or using them or anything like that more power to you and I would gladly be a care taker instead.

I started the fandom at 13-14 and didn't know diapers were a fetish, fell in love with a diaper butt, drew for him, then others, quit for 3 years, came back and started again, 9 years later I finally try them, not my thing but not bad.

X3 glad you enjoyed it, honestly its my first time ever telling anyone this but it felt good to say it, but I guess me answer is I loved the person who introduced me to them and that love for him made me like them (^_^)
Also the bed wetting thing and knowing that people out there were like me made a juge difference in my confidence as a person with a condition but I never got to wear until recently which wasnt bad but plastic beds and under sheet guards are uncomfortable XD

Hmm... I like them for a mixture of reasons, some fetish related and some I guess would be described as innocent/tame.

The fetish factors are mostly tactile sensations: Love the crinkly feeling, the softness, and the squishiness and bulkiness of a well-soaked diaper. <3 They also kind of reach a crossroads with my cubby side when it comes to the submissive and small feeling. There's also just feeling naughty wetting myself when I'm in my cubby headspace when I should be using the toilet like a grown-up. x3

The not so fetishy factors are the appearance, the more babyish, the easier to keep me in the cubby headspace. Being cubby helps me significantly when I'm in my low periods of bipolar depression. I also like them for their convenience where I can spend extended time gaming (while my mother isn't around).

My interest in diapers has been around for as long as I can remember, but it wasn't until I was 20-21 and employed that I had a chance to buy a pack, a sampler of Bambinos <3

I'm not incontinent myself though I've got an issue on similar grounds to it, IBS with predominant constipation. With how much fiber and meds I have to take at times, I sometimes consider wearing for those close call moments. Rather indifferent towards messing diapers otherwise mainly due to the clean-up that follows...~_~ Never had any issues with bedwetting but has been something I've fantasized about at times.
