Excited about this upcoming year!
So, big things are coming up next year. I'll have my surgery, get a partial (working on the details with a cool maker), and I'll be getting a decent drawing tablet to start myself off with my art. I have finally reached a point where I realized it just takes so long to do things with a wired mouse. I want and need things to feel "natural" while I'm creating things and a mouse just doesn't cut the cake. :V
In other news, I'm finally starting to heal emotionally I think from my recent relationship that ended. It's still a little confusing at times but it's been slowly getting easier with each day that passes. I will always love him, and vice versa so that's really all that matters to me. I'm glad we were able to stay close friends, he really is my bestie. Oh, and earlier (I guess technically yesterday night) we went and saw Krampus together. I won't spoil anything but I was not displeased with the character design for the spirit Krampus. I really dislike when like...movie franchises/concept designers over-romanticize beings that are MEANT to appear terrifying or creepy. I would not recommend taking young children to see this of course. It has funny moments throughout but I wouldn't call this a family movie for those with small tots.
In other..other news, my younger sister might be moving in with me and my mother until March when she leaves for basic training for the Airforce. She passed the required tests for entry and she's got the job she said she wanted. A Cryptologist for Japanese language. That is so awesome, I'm incredibly proud of her, she's grown up so much these past couple of years. She randomly came down this past weekend and stayed until Monday morning. We stayed up for SEVEN TO EIGHT HOURS watching Supernatural together. I'm half-way into season 5 and she was caught up but she wanted to see my reactions to things and rewatch herself. Ah...I was sad after she left though. I forgot how nice it is having someone to stay up and play with/watch things/etc. I'll be alright though, besides hopefully I hear from her soonish. (She's REALLY bad at keeping in contact with anyone period lol she has admitted this herself)
Good things, good things blossoming. I'm looking forward to another year and wonder where my adventures will lead me and my loved ones next.
