I really had no idea why I thought it was clever to call Nidoqueen that.

So once again, I'm sorry. I feel like a big jerk.

It's not a problem, I'm not just railing on you for no reason. I just got several similar comments so I thought it would be best to let everyone know.

I never use that term anyway. I'm not 100% sure why I don't use it, but I think it's because I don't like it. That is, I think it's just bad or disrespectful. I've never actually thought about why I don't use the term until now, to be honest. Maybe I knew in my subconscious, but only just got to really thinking about it now? I dunno. Either way, you won't need to worry about hearing me say that. :)

Never used the term, never will. Simple as that

I call Toriel "goatmom" because she's a mother figure in the game, and I don't think of her as a waifu.

That's fair, she is a very motherly-like character, and I don't necessarily expect anyone else to consider her as 'goatwaifu' other than myself. I just don't people thinking I'm interested in her for being a mom or whatever.

The term waifu is eqially disgusting to me, it sounds so creepy and stalker like.

If it means anything, my understanding/use of 'waifu' basically means "fictional/imaginary dream girl", without any negative connotations (and with the knowledge that they're not real); in my case it's usually the pretty, sweet, or cute girls that I like for their personality/appearance/etc.

But if you feel that way, then I can't convince you otherwise.

It's just due to it being associated with the Otaku culture which can be rather self-destructive at times.

Dont blame you for feeling that way. Lotta terms feel vulgar and some of us are afraid to admit we dont like it lest we get called 'Wimp!' 'Loser!' 'Weakling!' etc...

basically not being part of the 'cool group' anymore. That's how I feel.
