Having to have a shoulder popped back in and fingers relocated... uhh getting into fight with your brother cause he stole your gift and denied it :T

I've popped my shoulder back into place 3 times, once when I fell off a sled and slammed down on some flat rocks.

And twice while sleeping. I sleep with my arm crooked and my head on my shoulder sit up the wrong way and yeaaaaah minor dislocations are not fun, I imagine what you mentioned is far worse.

Oh hell yeah I won and the shoulders were from work and fingers were too trying to lift a transmission for a car , also he is the oldest brother which makes it so much more sad

For the record, how did it "die"? What's wrong with your laptop and/or car? (I'm rather savvy at both)

Laptop will not hit post. Power on black screen no beeps nothing.

Car: we're assuming a dead alternator and battery combo won't know till Monday when the place we dropped it at is open (old family friends shop)

Laptop: What's the make and model? Does the black screen "light up" as if the screen is receiving power, or fans spinning to indicate any sign of life? Or is it the equivalent of a brick?

Car: Good thing it's a smaller shop by a family friend, they'll take care of you ;3

Laptop: lights on the keyboard for things like number lock and WiFi turn on fans and HD hum even if I let it sit and punch my login by memory no audio or sound of the HD reving up faster to load OS.

Car: just spoke to them. Dead alternator.

Alternators are no fun to replace.

But whats the make and model of the laptop? I'm curious if it is a mobo or maybe even a memory issue. There's even potential that it's just an inverter for the screen, but doubt since you said no audio comes out when trying your password after waiting a moment.
