Oh lord I SOOOOOO want to write more here, but I don't want any spoilers, so I will have to keep this kinda brief and generic.
GO SEE IT.

It is awesome.
And I would strongly suggest going to see it in 3-D. There is no 3-D for 3_D sake, It is very well done, and it isn't overdone.
The plot, well, I can't say too much. You get to see some old friends and some new heroes. I love the way that Finn is introduced. We don't get a lot of backstory, but enough that you can understand his motivations.
Thematically, this movie has a lot in common with #4, a New Hope (it will always be the FIRST movie to me, lol) No that isn't spoilerish, because it doesn't explain what happens, just that you can see some of that movie in this one.
Man, there is so much more I want to say.. Maybe I will make a spoiler review as well. (Yes I will mark it)
Just please, go see it. You won't regret it. I promise.

I thoroughly enjoyed it myself. I love what they're doing with Kylo Ren, and Finn is one of my new favorite characters. I'd totally chat you up over it on Skype or something if you wanted to gush about spoilers. xD
