Hey, remember that game I ditched? It's BACK!
Ok, so if you haven't already, check my featured submission, about the game I promised but never delivered.
Due to recent events, I'm going to have significant amounts of time on my hands where all I can do is sit on my ass in front of a public computer terminal and type (for the next several months). As such, I figured "hey, I should totally make that game I said I would make, like, three hundred years ago, that I never made". And so, I've begun work again on the Vore TextRPG The Universes of Prowen. I recently uploaded a log of a play-through of the very very beginning of the game (unfortunately without vore, as I haven't written that yet), to show off the character creation system (which I am very proud of) and the beginning of the story. As I said in that post, I am here to give a few details on the plan for the game, and some major changes:
1. The game is now going to be pretty endo heavy, though there are most likely going to be certain fatal encounters.
2. Just because the game is endo, that does NOT mean there is no digestion (though there is an option to turn it off). I have a very creative way of (not so much) of characters being digested and still maintaining endo themes. (Basically regeneration, but I had to at least try and make it sound cool).
3. The game will most likely NOT contain scat.
4. The game WILL contain many types of vore, including oral, anal, cock, unbirth, tail, ear and possibly others. (All with config options for enabling/disabling).
5. The game will change depending on the way you create your character. Characters the size of blue whales will not be able to fit in mouse holes, and most homes. Meanwhile, a character the size of an ant is more likely to get easily injured by larger creatures. There will be advantages and disadvantages to both.
6. In addition to the size factor, height, skin type, and even shape will also be taken into account, as well as many other factors.
7. In addition to the character creation system, there will also be a trait system. Traits are additional attributes (both good and bad) that effect gameplay. You will be able to choose up to 12 traits, but must have an equal number of good and bad traits. An example would be that a character has keen senses, but they also tend to be slower than normal.
8. The game will NOT contain graphics, as I had previously stated, HOWEVER: if someone were to provide them I would be happy to add them in.
9. As I am using a public computer to do much of the programming, I have to write most of the vore scenes at home, meaning it might take slightly longer to get releases out compared to me being able to write them all at once.
10. There will be three "world types". These will determine the setting of most places and items. The world types are Magic, Science, and Both. They will also affect the game in certain other ways, such as certain parts of the story (though the plot will remain the same).
11. I don't know when I will release the first version, but I hope to be able to soon.
12. I will be making the game in LUA, not Inform 7, as I previously stated.
13. I'm trying to make the character creation system as flexible as possible, so if I've missed something, please tell me!
14. The game will include a relationship system, and the possibility of mating with another character. However, I do not plan on writing full sex scenes, though they will most likely still get the blood pumping. (I'm very good at writing sex scenes without actually getting too adult).
And that's that. I'm going to upload another game log containing the first vore scene as soon as I write it.
Also: The game is going to be pretty extensive by the time I finish it. We're talking over 100 hours of content here.

Finally, about the Macro/Micro thing: Depending on how you create your character, you may automatically get the first vore scene as a macro/micro. Also, as a personal little favorite of mine, I like to make it so even the smallest characters can, given enough time, swallow even the largest characters. Not that it would be practical for either, as it would not only take a very very long time, but both participants would be pretty much immobile for the next for days, as one sat in the others gut, while the small one tried to digest something several hundred times bigger than itself. Still, I will give the option, though it may lead to a much harder play through. Think of it like this: Anyone (except pure humans) can eat anyone, but it may not be to their advantage.
1. If micro characters can enter clothes, then maybe they can have choices about what to do in situations where the other character wears a clothes that a micro is hiding in, take Maria for example, if she wears her pantie that a micro is hiding in, then the micro have a choice to either try to escape, or go to the front or back seat of the pantie.
2. I notice you don't like Scat, but will you be ok with adding Farting, Watersports, and Face-Sitting?
3. And the last one is Crossdressing, this is where a Male or Male-Herm character wears females clothes, like a skirt or panties for example.
You can try to add the things pointed out in number 2 and 3 after you release the first version, while number 1 can be added before or after the first version is ready, it is up to you to decide them.
2. Probably not, though if others do, I won't stop them. The game is going to be mostly open source. (I may even upload a tutorial at some point on how to modify it).
3. I guess the best way to accomplish that would to be simply not caring what gender clothes/armor are applied to. It is after all, a text rpg, and as there doesn't need to be visual differences between the two, you could pretty much just put on anything you like. Also, gender, as of right now, isn't even asked during character creation, as I tend to go the whole game without having the character referred to with a gender based pronoun.
As I said, however, I will not stop people from editing or modifying the game to their liking, just don't expect me to play with those modifications on my own play throughs.
I guess what I'm saying is that the thing to know about this game, is that vore isn't so much a fetish in this world, as it is a way of life, developed and incorporated into the world after millions of years of evolution and cultures. That said, yes I am in it for the vore, and there will be vore-based sex scenes, they will just be between characters who have more of a relationship, not simply random people they don't know. The sole aspect of vore on the other hand, will be anywhere and everywhere.
