I don't really have much to say, I just wanted to post up one more journal for 2015!
I hope everyone had an awesome holiday season and have many positives heading into 2016. This year was rough for a lot of folks and I wish the best to anyone who suffered at all this year. I believe in you and hope next year is much, much better!
I don't have much to complain about this year; it all generally went pretty well. I illustrated 2 children's books for a client and therefore have 2 "published" books out there to slap on a resume. I started a new degree in Sequential Arts at SCAD and am absolutely loving it. I got to experience what it's like to move out of my parents house and live on my own (well, cept I'm not alone as I'm with stupidshepherd but sssh!), and it's not nearly as bad as I thought. Learned a lot about some friends of mine, good things and bad. I have been working to rid myself of negative things and people to be happier and less angry. It's a slow process, but it's getting there.
2015 felt like it lasted forever, which I honestly like. I hope 2016 lasts as long; so long as the lasting isn't a bad thing! I just hate having time fly by so fast!
I don't know what to expect going into the new year but I hope it's at least as nice as 2015 was for me!
As for some goals for 2016, I only have a few generic ones:
• Focus on school: keep learning, get good grades, don't stress out
• Work on my comic The Selection whenever I get the chance, but don't stress out if I miss an update
• Start work on the new collab comic!
• DRAW MORE THINGS! ALL THE THINGS!
