2015 Recap
So 2015 was an interesting year for me. It was the first time I got to go suiting at AC, and what a blast that was! Though I've had many years of experience cosplaying and such at other places, fursuiting is a whole different animal (pun intended =P). It was the first time I felt like I could be myself. AC, in itself, was awesome as always too, got to meet a lot of furs that I have known of for years. ^w^
Things got a bit rocky on the way home, however.
, whom I was carpooling with, had her leg sliced by an X-Acto Knife (razer blade) that had somehow gotten out of her crafting box and had poked through the side of one of the bags that she was loading into the vehicle, and sliced her leg open - deep. It was about 3 inches across, and to be blunt, left the skin hanging like fabric. After trying to calm her down, and stopping the bleeding as best as I could, I quickly drove her to the ER, picked her up out of the vehicle, and carried her inside. One of the nurses grabbed a wheelchair for her, and I sat her down and signed in for her. I left bloody fingerprints on their touch screen for sign in... Thankfully, they got her in quickly, and promptly stitched up the wound.
I've always been good with handling emergency situations, but after everything calmed down, I was rather disturbed being covered in her blood. Maybe it's just the fact that this was someone that I knew, a friend. Though I would still do the same for any stranger, I never felt quite like that before. Whatever the case, I am grateful things turned out okay, and her wound has been healing up just fine.

The rest of the year has been taken in stride, working on projects, doing collabs and generally branching out and trying not to be so damn shy as I tend to be. The handful of game releases from this year have also been a blast, such as Dying Light, Bloodborne, The Witcher 3, MGS:V, Fallout 4, and two new Warframe updates, to name a few.
Anyway, I wish everyone a safe and happy new year!
Cheers!

So many good games HAVE come out this year...Dying Light....Fallout 4...*addicted*....
But we should totally do more games this year. At least, for me, I certainly want to focus that this year.
At any rate, here's to an epic 2016!!!
Thank goodness you were there to help Sun - I was so stunned when that happened and I was just reading about it! I don't know if I could have kept my cool if I were in that situation!
Happy new Year, bub! *hugs* I hope your 2016 will be healthy, fulfilling, and inspirational!
