Happy 2016! ~ Updates and Resolutions!

Hope everyone had a wonderful new years eve, stayed safe and had fun! I didn't really do much myself, but relax -which is much harder to come by with a baby that's nearly a year old now! Jan 9!- and Skype'd my mother who wanted to see my face and wish me a happy new year after midnight. But I enjoyed it none-the-less, and it gave me a bit of time to think about the goals I wanna accomplish this year.
1 -- More art!
I really need to like, schedule times during the day that I should draw/sketch/whatever. But I do need to make that more consistent for sure. 'Cause I really do LOVE drawing, it's just been really hard getting used to not getting to just sit for hours on end and work on things. But I am determined this year to make it work, and I'll start with art that I owe friends/family....and then I'll work on adoptables and personal stuff, because I've got plenty of my own person characters that need to be fleshed out and given some love!
2 -- Make some mullah?
Because I want to, not because I need to. It'll be nice to have the extra money. So it may coincide with the "more art" goal, but I do know that I wanna try and make this work this year. I'm unsure about doing commissions, or even how to start them, or price them....I just.... @.=.@ I'll hopefully get this figured out....Adoptables will definitely be an option obviously, and I've already got quite a few ideas planned out, just need the motivation to do it!
And non-art related goals include -but aren't limited to: find videos to teach my son Vincent sign language, start taking more walks, go to the library more, spoil my scaley child Nahimana (corn snake :3) so she doesn't feel left out, maybe upgrade Vincent's fish tank so the Beta I got has more room to roam -and in turn get him some compatible friends. There's so much I plan to do this year, I don't even know...but I will be more determined than ever to accomplish them, I don't want to keep giving myself unmotivated, empty promises...so this year I want to be much different.
And on this glorious first day of the new year...My baby boy took his first steps by himself today!!!! It was only a few, but it nearly made me cry!! What a happy way to begin the new year!!
