Considering buying a Surface Pro 2--Thoughts?
Thinking of getting an SP2 as a secondary workstation so that I can work on commissions while I'm not at my desktop, namely like, waiting on the bus, car rides, breaks at work, etc. Does anyone have any experience with it? Is it worth it? Should I look for something that comes with the pen, or will an after market pen work as well?

Ive have nothing but good things to say about the surface. Its fast, durable, lightweight, and the pro runs photoshop no problem, and it includes a stylus already. Since its the Pro2 they have worked out some of the bugs from the first Pro anf the RT (the one i own).

The surface pro 2 does come with a stylus that uses Wacom technology. Some Wacom styluses will work on the Pro 1 and Pro 2. Surface Pro 3 and Pro 4 uses N-Trig technology and pretty much can only use the Microsoft stylus that comes with it. I work at a Microsoft Retail store and can help with questions.

I have a surface pro 3 and it's perfectly the tech item of last year I recommend it as you get full blown Windows and all the flexibility with it. It's easier to carry than a laptop and definitely replaced my iPad as my dominate tablet. If your into art bit of a learning curve to go through adjusting to the surface pen or other pens but it can easily handle a lot of things you throw at it.
