You can get away with slightly changing his outfit's design. Like changing short sleeve to long sleeve.

But seriously, sometimes designs from casual media can make and break ideas for characters. I may have to change Konana's cuffs now due to a similar design worn by DK in that Skylanders game. They stole my cuff designs!

The tie is probably what people fixate on the most though. What makes this even worse is the fact that I already had designs done for a possible fursuit and now I gotta have it changed.

Well people weren't aware of your character appearing before Nick was even thought of. Newbear is right. You should keep the design. You should just correct people if future comparisons to Nick ever occur.

There are multiple people asking me if Sleazy is the wolf version of Nick Wilde. It's so fucking obnoxious. It's the outfit.
