message from general pepper, priority one! We need your help Starfox! Andross has declared war!
ok, first off im may spoil stuff in this, so if you want nothing spoiled at all period! dont read.
Secondly, i love starwars! ever since i watched 4,5,6, on vhs, i would love to own a storm trooper out fit, a lightsaber from the movie, and chewbacca's entire outfit. now to the movie that has inspired this journal.
i watched the new movie and i have to say, im a little disappointed. the movie felt a little rushed, some of the spots in the movie felt like WTF. now remember these are just small gripes for me, i liked the movie.
first gripe, in a new hope han, was a smuggler and wanted to get payed. he did not change at all for two whole movies, or three even. now (spoil alert) if i was a clone trooper on the run, to escape from something/ like a group of space nazi's with a giant planet size star accelerator cannon, what would you do? A. ditch all sense of training, fear, and want of escape and help "friends" you've known for a couple of days, and beat you with a stick. or B. get the first chance flight to the farthest part of the galaxy. i would have chose B. maybe changed my mind later and come back, but i hope you get what i mean.
Second gripe, in a new hope, obi wan, had to train Luke how fight with a light saber. luke in no way simply picked up a lightsaber, and simply because he had the force started whopping someones ass. he even lost a hand fighting someone (darth vader) more experienced. now the new hero, is just like, lightsaber only touched it once, just realized i have force powers, now master jedi in five hours (15 minutes move time). O.O wow... force these days is better than i remember.
Third gripe... starwars: a new hope was the seed to rebirth the jedi order and bring hope and light to the galaxy... in twenty years, luke says fuck it, im out, im going to go wander off some where, han looses the Falcon, and a new duo of sith teacher and apprentice, are re-runing another train on the galaxy... 7 is 4 all freaken over agian!
but the graphics where kool, storm troopers can finally hit things, a X-wing pilot flies a tie fighter, and alot of tid bits from old starwar movies are put in. over all, it's a good movie if you dont read to hard. it has tragedy, a few laughes, alot of hey i remember that moments, and lots of action.
so those that seen it comment, those who want to ask question please do so.

For the first gripe you gotta rememeber he can't fly so he needed a pilot second stomrtroopers aren't clones >.< for your second gripe stormtroopers are trained from birth to fight so it's not surprise he was able to hold his own a bit and the girl head to be able to protect her self from birth and not having a blaster made it so she had to use poles or some sort of sticks so again being able to hold her own with a plasma sword isn't surprising and for the third gripe I completely agree

OP
im not saying he didn't need a pilot, it was mutual beneficial to both parties to escape, but becoming instant friends is something different? original storm troopers where clones (movies 2-3), even in the movie he states the fact that maybe they shouldn't use them hint fm822's (fins) name. his fighting (he is only trained in a blaster) i can understand. a staff is one thing and a sword that can cut through anything and is way lighter, takes a lot of getting use to. if it was a dual light saber (phantom mence) ok sure, and yes she has fighting skills. but going from two handed to one handed and fighting a way more skilled opponent, adds a whole new problem. and tank you, im glad im not the only one.

Clones age twice as fast as normal humans and after 2-3 they stopped clone production and kilo even says they should think about using a clone army in stead because of fins betrayal a.k.a it never would have happened if it was a clone and fin and hux both say that the stormstroopers are taken from families and aren't clones and you make valid points about the staff to sword but why would you only train a foot soldier in one area of fighting sense birth? That would be a waste of time and would end by age like ten >.<

OP
fin states he was trained only on a blaster. i've musta mis-heard about the clones.

That seems kinda weird though if he was only trained in a blaster >.< but then again kilo was shot with one of the most powerful blasters and was bleeding out when they fought so that might also explain there "victory"

OP
hmm... maybe. i want to kinda doubt it, being it wasn't a grievous wound.

slybloodwolf
~slybloodwolf
The blaster he was shot with sent regular soldiers flying throuh the air with shattered armor how can that not be a grievous wound >.<

OP
true, but those where direct hits, his wound was barely on his side.
