Well, before he had done the kickstarter he got into a conflict with a friend of mine where he wouldn't pay him for voiceover work on the game.

When the Kickstarter came up I pretty much avoided it because of hearing about his business practices.

So it was to be expected somewhat.

Ouch. From that alone I can see how it was doomed from the start. :c

The guy running it knew jack shit about how to run a company.
His general idea was: Throw money at it until it gets done.

So the mismanagement of money, plus the fact he was a asshole didn't help.

Sad thing about Kickstarter is there is nothing anyone can do. You can literally start a kickstarter and not deliver and it's an Oh Well deal.

I did hear that programmers and artists and such are looking into suing, but I haven't seen anything official.

they can, since that's a contract between them and the company that got broken. but the Backers are kinda SoL...shit outta luck
