Now broadcasting on all Braincast channels!!!
Welp it finally happened. The escalating file corruptions hit a core component of my OS. I thought initially it was the Visual C++ libraries that I could reinstall. However it seems the Windows Installer Service was also hit. So i'll be taking some time off. I have to do a reinstallation of my HDD from the installed backup. ...yay

In my student days, I did a lot of software development on Windows 95 and of course my programs crashed a lot during testing. This is before the days of protected memory, so the OS would end up crashing a lot right along with my programs. Sometime I'd have to reinstall every 2 or 3 weeks; I had it down to a science. :P
