Ark Survival Evolved (not sure if it.. classifys as mmorpg)
and Warframe

Played Ark, got a bit odd with all the long time that it takes to gather shit on official servers, and halways dead private ones.

never tried warframe *googles it*

ark is so fun, on the non official or the LESS pop official.. idk you have to like building or dinos a lot to keep playing :3 warframe you can like wow buy stuff BUT EVERYTHING unlike in WoW in Warframe can be found/created once you get the proper materials. its really fun an i love it. i play that almost as hardcore as ark

i know what you are talking about, i clocked nearly 400 hours on that stuff already XD and been playing it only for 3 months or so :X I love the game, dont get me wrong, but its just repetative as hell :X

id try it for sure, but i cant run ark on my laptop and my rig is fully DOA.

my laptop runs warframe easy though, add me if you want, names Kadaire, im online mostly every night around 11 or 12 eastern, and all day weekdays till about 5pm eastern.

Fair warning though. Im a terrible noob (slow on murdering, cant speed run for crap) on there with only about 5 days logged, and no formas to my name. i make due with the mods i have and run what i can, and any alerts i can find with good stuff.

i have to run ark on lowest possible... sadly for now. And feel free to add me, same name as here :) i might forget since im doing the move thing so probably safer for you to add. and well.. its ok, im still pretty rusty myself not very far along. ive less WF hours then i do ARK hours XD so no worries. can even join my guild (i forget the real name)

and, i would join your guild but ive been running my own guild for research for a year now. gotten too far in to abandon it, and generally i add friends to it if they need a clan to hold over until they find a better one, and for them to get research weapons if they need them. thanks though!

and yeah i can imagine the wasted credits, though those are pretty easy to farm now. dark sectors pay like 20k for 5 waves and its not terribly hard.

If you'd asked me same question like 10 years ago I could advice you to try Rising Force Online. It was pretty interesting MMO. But some time later it turned into a total crap and now it's dead.

same with aion, aion was awesome, i loved the game, but since gameforge got its hands on it its a total desaster...

Final Fantasy XIV is my current MMORPG, having been a major fan of WoW in the past. I don't know what FFXIV's PvP is like, since I've only cared about the PvE.
If you are a Final Fantasy Fan it's worth a look.

Just know if you try the 14 day trial you can't download the client until you start your trial time. the game also has some pretty decent recruit a friend offers, so if you try it out, see if anyone thats a friend or associate ya game with is on that game because it includes special mounts the new person gets easier then the recruiter, and it gets you access to the limited emote of the /fistbump. and if you buy the digital upgrade you can get a helm item and pets and a mount, but the helm gives all classes including crafting classes a 10% boost to EXP gain until level 10. Which until you have played for a bit, that boost is a life savor. Lastly, Excalibur has at least one big furry guild, but it also has drama over stupid shit. So it's awesome, and has lots of great people in it, but it's got furry problems.

GuildWars 2 is my current Mmo i spend more time with then any others i don't know much about its pvp and wvw stuff because im mostly jest doing the pve main world things.

If you want something different I suggest Guild Wars 2, it's B2P so you don't have to worry about subscriptions and can just log on and off as you feel like it. Now, disclaimer, I'm not a huge fan of the game anymore, I guess I just tired of it over time but I still stick around because all of my friends are there. However, I reckon that it's still a very good experience for a new player and well worth the money. Even if you only play through the story and explore the world for a bit and never come back after that I think it's still a good value.

star trek was AWESOME! just a pitty that hteres not much going on there anymore. i loved it. even tho all the flying was a little... lets just say... nervewrecking and tireing.

when did you last play? im not sure what the current thing is, but we got an iconian war episode finally, and the dysonsphere space zone is like my home for dilithium farming XD

While warframe can be pay to win, you can get absolutely everything in it if your extremely paitent, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6cIRZlMQ3g heres a trailer, also unlike most games, you CAN do all the crazy stuff shown in the trailers for warframe.

I think the best will be WoW simply because of the money they can devote to the game. They also adopt others ideas into the game over time such as Guild Wars 2, it felt lack luster to me, but they had some really good ideas that eventually WoW copied.

I go back and forth on WoW though and am starting to think maybe its a people problem. Something like growing up on gaming and eventually just overusing to the point it has no effect like we remember. People asking and wanting certain things that end up satisfying too instantly and create other issues or after receiving deciding that's not what we really wanted.

i played well over 900 hours on wow the past few years, and i got bored of it completely. i used to RP in it, but the community gets worse and more boring each day.
dont get me wrong, i still LOVE it to bits. do fanart, read the books, will go to the cinema and play lots of other blizzard games. but after over 5 years on WoW its just the same everyday shit :X

might have a look on legion tho, even tho its the first game from bliz i did NOT get the expansion pack preordered on the day of unveilingday...

Ich hab selber keine Erfahrung mit MMORPGs (nicht mein Typ, zumindest nicht so das Übliche). Das nächste was mir dazu einfällt (was jemand bereits erwähnte) wäre wohl Warframe. Hätte nicht gedacht dass es mich reinzieht, aber das hat es derbst.
Ein Teil der mir wohl auch dran gefällt ist das modding von Waffen und Warframes selbst; man kann keine permanenten Entscheidungen treffen die sich nicht rückgängig machen lassen (und einen negativen Effekt haben). Du kannst Mods nämlich mix-and-match machen wie du willst, und diese Anpassungsfähigkeit ist auch nötig. Und ermöglicht einem öfter was Neues zu probieren :>
Ansonsten beschreibt man es gern als "Space Ninjas". Der Kampf hat ein recht schnelles Tempo, Sekundärwaffen sind (find ich untypisch für viele Shooter) tatsächlich worth a damn (meine Lex Prime hat einen höheren Einzelschaden pro Schuss als die meisten meiner anderen Waffen) und Nahkampf ist höchst zufriedenstellend mit allerlei Nahkampfhaltungen und Kombos die sich daraus ergeben.
Dazu noch viele Frames für allerlei Spielstile.

Kehrseite ist, dass es teilweise echt doofes Farming hat (gerade der Void, namentlich) und dass das Balancing noch nicht ganz so dolle ist (manche Frames sind teilweise meh da die erst einer nachdem anderen reworked werden). Insgesamt aber macht es echt Laune, muss ich sagen.

Im Falle wenn du damit anfängst: bin in einem Clan der nur aus Freunden/Bekannten besteht und in dem auch (fast) sämtliche Forschungen abgeschlossen sind :> Hättest also einen guten Start und einige Mitspieler die dir anfangs sehr gut durchhelfen könnten. Inklusive TS :P

does have a sub, but it is totally worth it :)
especially if your a fan of older ff titles because they do a good job
bringing old into the new without ruining the original stories/concepts

you can't have both. either pay2awesome, or free-but-mediocre.

that said, I highly recommend Lineage 2.

Guild Wars is pretty solid... Aion was pretty cool when I played it, but didn't invest too much time... I just liked the fact my character was a chubby angel XD

OH! Middle Earth!!! I ~loved~ that one... free, but you can buy upgrades for more character slots. But really, the game is so huge, you'll spend most of your time playing the one. Hobbit with a floppy hat... nuff said XD

Ich kann dir Eldel Scrolls Online noch ans Herz legen. Ist zwar nicht Free2Play sondern Pay2Play aber es macht echt Spaß, Freundliche Leute, spannende Quests und das was ich persönlich am coolsten finde, keine festgelegten Skilltrees. Du willst, Fernkampf und Nahkampf machen? Kein Problem dazu noch noch n bisschen AOE Magie? Auch kein Problem xD

Wirklich sehr zu Empfehlen.

Ich habe viele probiert, aber wenn ich da gute raussuchen soll wären es Star Trek Online, Neverwinter oder Guild Wars 2. Letzteres ist absolut nicht P2W das weiss ich selber. Kann ich nur empfehlen, ansonsten wenn du Coop Games magst diesbezüglich würde ich dir ansonsten Warframe empfehlen auch wenns bisserl weniger RPG ist.

Wildstar is alright, and so is Secret World. Secret World is huge

I Play Mabinogi When i get the chance. It has Changed greatly in the last 5 years. at first is was a pay to play. but there are a lot of things to do in it. Good luck getting a new MMO to play!
