What the best way to do Commission UpDates ?

Commission Updates/status is something i need to work on this year. I want to find the best way of doing it for keeping me on task and people not in the dark.
If anyone has suggestions and the best way to go about it please let me know

Or some sort of progress bar on your homepage for them to check!
When I have goals i want to make, I take a copy of the background on my desktop and type them into it, with Paint, in big bold letters. They dont come off till they get finished. I dont have to say but there are fun ways of doing this, if you use your "imagination".
