IMMEDIATE NEED to FILL but you need either money already setup for month to month aka job... or have a few months of rent saved so you can look for a job an still be able to pay. everything but food is included in the cost. its in a house, not an apartment too with fence. most pets ok EXCEPT cats, both landlord an other roomie are severely allergic.

I vote Texas. Down the middle. Dallas area, Houston, Austin, etc. Big enough to get lost in and big enough to be connected to all other places.
Dallas specifically. The hub of trade and opportunity. Then again I am biased. I am a north Texan. This is my home. Where ever you end up.
