If you could meet any bear off of FA in RL and if you had the chance to go and visit them, who would it be? x3

There's a grenade! I'll preface this my saying that there are a *lot* of Bears that I would love to meet and get to know, I'm hoping one of these days I'll get a few of em around a breakfast table or something near to one of those Con things.

If I had to chose two that are reasonably close and where it's feasible that I could just pull it off without great expense or planning to bring it together, I would love to meet  Stormhowl or  Kody who are at least in my quarter of the continent :)

What kind of IM app do you like/use most (telegram, kick, line, Skype, etc) and why?

Well I'm really liking this Telegram App that I've just started using recently as I was invited to the chat. I've never liked Skype and it always does weird thing with my other programs. Other than that up till now I've mostly used OOVOO which I don't mind and Yahoo Messenger because I'm old :P

That's a great question - I don't know if I can say that other furs *don't* do it but two really Bearish traits that I love is that we're freehuggers and we swing for the fences there, and that there is a something of a quiet confidence that gives us a very acute sense of self-deprecation. You rarely meet a Bear that can't turn a phrase or crack a joke at his own expense :)

Little late to the party but i would love to know how you found out you were a furry. Was it an event. Was it confusing. Why a bear? :)

Well...that's an interesting question. I was introduced to the fandom through my first mate - he was quite deeply into Sunday Pawpet Show and doing some fursuiting. I dug into the fandom really to understand what it meant to him and as I did, I did not gravitate to the same things but in looking at the touchpoints and the artwork, I just kept saying to myself, "it am totally taken by how creative these folks are looking at this stuff that these anthropomorphic characters are doing seems so totally normal and natural and well kinda a turn on". There was little to no adjustment and it never felt weird and that's when I realized that I'd had these thoughts about certain characters as I was growing up all along - Rikki Tikki Tavi, Eeyore, Baloo, Little John....

I suppose at the end of the day I'm drawn mostly to the creativity and the ability to capture intimate emotions in the lives of these characters that are almost easier to place than humans. I was always going to a Bear - there was never any doubt of that to me, most because of my size, and my bearing and just where I was drawn to. I think I would have made an incredible Elk though otherwise ;)

Would you want to hang out with a beardragon whom you knew as a different bear?

We need to catch up Big Fella. Just not sure where to start - what types of stuff do you use to chat?

I use Skype and yahoo..... Bigmahun on skype... That's my primary chatty thing. Yahoo is mahun_the_beardragon

I will make a point of seeing if I can reach out to you sometime this week on either. I really don't like Skype all too much so I'll probably try Yahoo first.
