BEGIN!
I am well aware of the passing of close friend
Damnevildog. I have been keeping tabs from time to time in regards to his health because in all reality I knew that his life was short. I have only told a short handful of this, however it was at the time a circumstance that I had dreaded. Even so, foreknowledge of this type of thing still does not adequately prepare you for it. I imagine this has been upsetting for quite a few people, and myself as well. Many of us who knew him well were always looking forward to finding that better game to spend time hanging out, which is what we were all hoping for. Now that time will never come.
I can say, however, that the time that was spent with him has been the best; Always trying to entertain and be entertained in doing so, despite the trouble with failing health and other circumstances. Now it comes to what to do now.
firefly8083 and
wrathofzod are talking about donations for his cremation. It's something to consider, since he really cared about a lot of people.
As for me, I plan on doing something that I haven't done in a long time. Story is that when a traveler was lost along his way, those who knew him or her would place a lit candle in the window near the front door at night so that hopefully they might find their way home. It became symbolic and I myself have done this for at least three persons in my past. This would be my fourth time doing so. It is also something to consider if you wish, but everyone has their own way of saying Goodbye. This is mine.
Good luck, friend.

I'm still in shock about it, and hoping that it wouldn't happen.. but puppy is at least in a better place now
I only knew him superficially from his work and postings here, but I know he was a friend of yours. I hope you're faring all right.
I hope all the lights lit for him makes him happy.
