Tbe Circle of Life is hard on it's people

Being taught to avoid talking about Politics and Religion has led to a lack of understanding of Politics and Religion. What we should have been taught was how to have a civil conversation about a difficult topic.
Today, received a call from my mom telling me that my dad was now in the hospital, and would be going into a nursing home from there. He has a light case of Pneumonia and his Alzheimers is now fully engaged. Mom can't lift dad anymore when he falls, so that is why. He gets mad about the things he can no longer do, and mom can't bear the brunt of that anymore. Kinda knew it was coming, makes it no easier in it;s arrival. We Live, We Die. Should not be sad, dad's already gone mentally, now we wait for the rest of him to catch up. not happy.

My condolences to you and your family, Winterbeast. That sort of decision is hard, but I know it is for the best for your dad and your mom.

Thank you, Pyat. I called the hospital to verify, and yes he is there. They asked me if I wanted to transfer to the room, but I figured dad was too far gone to handle things like phones any more.
