so i went to MEPS to start the process of joining the Active Duty Enlistment in the Army and my ASVAB scores qualified me for almost every job available. I'm looking down the list and all their Reception dates start in late February this year which doesn't give me a lot of time to try and get into better physical shape but i dont know. so they're forcing me to go back to MEPS this Tuesday since i didnt sign for anything yet. all i can say is if i sign anything on that day then everyone wont hear from me for about 7months. so...im gonna miss being on here.

Pro-tips: get an MOS that has transferable skills to the civilian world. Don't believe anything until you get it in writing. Never volunteer for anything at Basic/AIT. Both are just a big mind game so do as your told and embrace the suck as you'll remember your battle buddies for the rest of your life. Weapons are fun, cleaning them sucks but you'll learn to love it. Wean your self off sugars and carbonated drinks, you'll thank me later. Otherwise it will be a fun ride and you'll learn a lot about the world. Good luck!

already got my MOS xD 31B MP also got sworn in by my O-6 father and O-6 grandfather so i head to Fort Lost in the Woods Feb 22nd
