Do you have a patreon? What rewards do you offer? Do you think it's worth it?

I only pledge to one person at the moment. My friend Ken Draw to help support their web comic, Cosmic Joke.
Overall I say try to keep in mind how much work you feel comfortable pulling off reasonably. I've seen a lot of folks try to offer rewards only to burn themselves out because they are so busy scrambling to do the rewards that they end up not able to work on the project they started patreon for in the first place.
I personally prefer when artists use Patreon in a less exclusive way. IE, when someone offers things to patron's early (access to art, comics, tutorials, sketches, adopts, commission slots, etc ) but doesn't stop posting those things to their normal sites. They may just post them to patreon 24 hours to 1 week ahead of time on Patreon. I also think offering things like raffles might be nice to keep people from just leaving after a month ( like they may do with commissions ). And there are milestone goals you can do, which don't have to be anything super crazy per-se ( Mab does a taco review every month because we reached the $300 goal.... I think that's what the goal was). The thing about Patreon is just being able to make sure you can stick to whatever goals you set.
I would support you where possible, so.
BUt theres always that huge issue w/ fanbase. You kinda need a prettyyy large one to 'get away' with it in poor words...
So mines been just sitting there all pretty but empty, due to having a really small fanbase, and having to make the choice between 'maybe making money' and 'making money' through commissions. Time=Money and all that fun stuff.
But it's worth a try, or at least to set it up and find out how many people are interested!
