Question For Artists // Update

Hey everyone, so from the looks of it I won't have my Photoshop for a little bit.
So I was wondering if any artists out there had any recommendations for non-Photoshop art programs that run free trials.
Those 30-day sort of things. I use a Mac so it needs to be compatible with that but it seems most art programs are.
By then I should be able to get my program up and running.
If I can get on a program similar to Photoshop I can continue on with my art and that means progress and more freebees! HUZZAH.
(Note: I am aware that Photoshop offers a 30 day trial program. I can't use that, but everything else should be good.)
Aside from that, there's FireAlpaca
Does SAI have a Mac version?
I'm past Yosemite. :/
I'm pretty sure it diverged from FireAlpaca, so they control similarly, but it's good for what I use it for.
