Gate is great, for sure. Was surprised initially by how much more graphic and brutal the graphic novels are, but the show is still great without it. It moves through the material really quickly though, which is sad, since there were many times I wouldn't have minded more time being spent on certain story lines.

Iron Blooded Orphans is definitely worth your time though, should you get around to it. I haven't felt this strongly about a quality Gundam show since the days of 08th MS Team.

Yeah usually the manga and anime differ but GATE is a anime I've been looking for some time.

IBO Gundam is getting a lot of praise I see. So I'll get to it when it's finished

The MSG dvds I own are the entire UC Universe, AC 195 / Waltz, and Mobile Fighter. Will be getting Turn A Gundam and After War X by the end of this year

Hate Seed, season 1 of 00 was good but two was meh and the other series don't care for.

I had some of the old VHS and DVDs, but not anymore. Never got really into Mobile Fighter. Seed Season 1 was tolerable, not great, Destiny was pure shit. Absolute dogshit. Never saw Turn A or After War X.

0083 Stardust Memory was also a good one, and 00 was pretty okay as well.

Gundam X looks epic. Not so much into the 'feel' of Turn A.

Here's an interesting thing to know about ( Turn ). So this gundam's universe is EVERY SINGLE GUNDAM UNIVERSE Meshed into One, and since this came out in 99 its every thing from the original till then. My friend who is a Gundam nut like me who is also a master builder of Gunpla, says in a messed up way the the whole idea works. And the creator is the creator of the original Gundam

There's probably more of those than you'd think. But not full blown anthros though, unfortunately -- unless you count shows where people are trapped online as a transformed character (like in Log Horizon) then yes.

some anime (like slayers) where werewolves and anthros appear ^^

I agree with Haikyuu and Iron-Blooded Orphans. Currently watching Gate I like the premise of it.
