...on my laptop, no idea how the hard drive got into that bad condition, but I lost all my files in it.
Needless to say, im very frustrated about it >.<
All my music, pics, games and my unfinished drawings, all gone...
Oh well, at least I got my laptop back, without any reason for me to use it. >_>
...brb, downloading Adobe pirateshop...

I'll figure out what program I used when I get home

BEST of luck!
But hey, I know what you're feeling, actually my father knows not me, but still I lost all my games on his computer.
(i unintentionally wiped my saved files a few years back - was able to recover maybe 70-85% but still :<
I really hope you can find something that could salvage what you could
Good luck man (we're rooting for ya!)
I hope you can retrieve some of the lost stuff with that program Quiet269 mentioned.
I have multiple apps you can use for recovery of the drive. R-Studio to get an image of the drive and recover files even if the filesystem is heavily damaged. Even works with RAID. I used it recently to recover a dead RAID5 array.
GetDataBack NTFS is also useful for recovery, though imo R-Studio is superior.
I could email them both to you, or give it to you on AIM or whatever.
thankfully it isnt...
but damn, so sorry that had to happen, I almost know how you feel v.v hope you can make the most of starting fresh, and fill your pc with new and better stuff
Download a Linux LiveCD and try to access the data through there. The LiveCD doesn't write to the HDD so any data will be safe.
Sorry to hear that, Arska. :C
*huggles you tightly*
